China's Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that the ruling Communist Party has decided to open an investigation into two senior military officials, Zhang Youxia and Liu Chenli, on suspicion of committing serious violations of discipline and law.
This decision follows allegations of serious disciplinary and legal violations allegedly committed by these individuals. The investigation will be conducted under the strict supervision of the party.
