Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Donald Trump discussed bilateral cooperation as well as issues concerning Taiwan and Ukraine during a phone call. Xi Jinping and Donald Trump held a phone conversation, during which they exchanged views on bilateral relations and the international situation. The Chinese leader stressed the importance of the healthy and stable development of China-US relations, adding that both sides should respect each other, focus on cooperation, and manage disagreements. Issues concerning Taiwan and Ukraine were also raised.
