Xi Jinping noted that the aging population presents serious challenges for the country and emphasized the importance of preventing a decline in population size. During a meeting of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping stressed that it is necessary to create favorable conditions for increasing the birth rate of children and improving policies for the support of families.
"We must strengthen our efforts in this important issue and adopt decisive measures to ensure the stability of fertility levels and population size," emphasized Xi Jinping.
