Tesla to Update 1.2 Million Cars in China for Safety

The state administration for market regulation announced on Friday that the problem is related to a bug in the software system, which can trigger a malfunction in its enhanced management electronic system. Tesla plans to update the software for about 1.2 million vehicles in China - this is primarily to improve its sales in the country to fix issues with the enhanced management system and rearview cameras, which pose a safety risk. At the same time, it is mentioned that 'the possible uncorrectable state of the rearview cameras may reduce visibility for drivers when reversing, thus increasing the risk of collisions.' Tesla will release an update of the software for 871,087 Model 3 and Y vehicles produced locally, to address the issue.
