China Launches Rocket with New Internet Satellite Group

China launched the Long March-8A rocket from a commercial spaceport in Hainan Province. On board was the 20th group of internet satellites, successfully placed into low Earth orbit.

China today launched the Long March-8A rocket into space from Hainan Province in the south of the country, carrying a new group of internet satellites. According to Xinhua News Agency, the rocket took off at 3:48 Beijing time from the commercial spacecraft launch site in Hainan. It successfully placed the payload, representing the 20th group of internet satellites, into low Earth orbit.
