
Last week, in its report, the Xinhua agency announced that China has set a new record in the production of clean energy. According to information published by the agency, China produced 214.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from wind, solar, and other sources of clean energy in the first quarter of this year.
"This indicator is 13.2% higher than last year's level and makes up 46.3% of the total electricity production volume in the country during the given period," the report states.
