
The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that his country's relations with Russia are "stable in turbulent times." Wang Yi emphasized that "mature, flexible, and stable Sino-Russian relations are not affected by temporary events and will not be disrupted by actions of third parties."
"There are no winners in a conflict, and there are no losers in negotiations. The negotiating table simultaneously represents the end of the conflict and the beginning of a path to peace," Wang Yi added at a press conference in Beijing during the Beijing session of the National Congress.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also called for negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. "These relations are stable in turbulent times." Wang Yi also condemned the "unfounded sanctions" imposed by the U.S. after their President Donald Trump took office.
