Today, a statement was made by the Chinese ambassador in Washington that China is ready to become a partner and friend of the United States. Following the recent tense relations between the two countries, Beijing expressed its desire to develop constructive partnership with Washington.
The Chinese representative expressed hope that cooperation between the countries would be based on mutual respect, equality, and mutual benefit. He also noted that for achieving this goal, it is necessary to have open dialogue and strive for mutual understanding.
"We are ready to work together with the USA based on the principles of mutual respect, honesty, equality, and mutual benefit," the Chinese ambassador emphasized. "We hope that both sides will adhere to these principles in the general efforts to strengthen our relations."
