"On December 28 and 29, the province of Yunnan hosted a historic summit where ministers and military representatives from the three countries convened. The initiative, led by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yienca, emerged after a recent ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand."

"The meeting focused on four key pillars: consolidating the ceasefire, rebuilding trust through restored diplomatic and commercial exchanges, strengthening regional security, and establishing a continuous communication platform. China positioned itself as a political guarantor and facilitator of dialogue."

"This agreement shows that dialogue and consultations are a viable and effective way to resolve complex disputes," said the spokesperson of the Chinese foreign ministry.

"Military representatives from the three countries actively participated, sending a clear message that peace is possible. With this mediation, the Xi Jinping administration reaffirms its intention to act as the main orchestrator of the Asian board, seeking stability that supports the region’s ambitious infrastructure projects."
