Lenovo Reports 24% Surge in Quarterly Revenue

Lenovo announced a 24% year-over-year increase in quarterly revenues, reaching $17.85 billion, surpassing analyst expectations. The company's profit stood at $359 million, exceeding estimates as the PC industry shows signs of recovery.


The global leader in the production of computers and electronics, Lenovo Group, reported a significant growth in quarterly revenue of 24 percent compared to last year, supported by recovery indicators in the personal computer sector worldwide.

Lenovo's revenue for the quarter ending September 30 reached $17.85 billion, exceeding analyst expectations, as indicated by data from the London Stock Exchange at $15.997 billion. The net profit amounted to $359 million compared to the analyst estimate of $331.69 million.

"We are pleased to announce the continued strengthening of our business and the increase in profitability indicators, which speaks to the demand and trust of consumers in our products," noted the company.
