
The Ministry of Commerce of China announced the extension of anti-dumping duties on imports of ethylene glycol from the USA, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Thailand for five years. According to the statement from the ministry, American exporting companies will face customs duties ranging from 76% to 97.1% on exported chemical substances used in the production of washing agents, dispersants, and polishing materials.
According to Reuters, for Saudi companies, the duty rates range from 10.1% to 27.9%, for Malaysian companies - from 18.3% to 20.3%, and for Thai companies - 37.6%. These measures come into effect from tomorrow.
