The uneven development of the renewable energy sector continues worldwide, with China remaining the dominant force in both the expansion of renewable energy generation capacity and job creation. Despite renewable energy capacities reaching a new record level, jobs in the sector only grew by 2.3% in 2024 compared to 2023, reaching 16.6 million jobs.
