China Deepens Belt and Road Cooperation

Chinese industrial and commercial companies deepened their strategic cooperation with partner countries of the 'Belt and Road' initiative in 2025, achieving significant progress in investment and industrial exchange. According to data published by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the past year was marked by a record presence of Chinese capital and delegations abroad. The official report highlights that out of 407 business delegation trips organized by the Council, 228 were destined for partner nations of the initiative, facilitating direct agreements and the opening of new markets. Likewise, 707 exhibition projects were approved in 43 countries related to the initiative, with the participation of more than 26,000 companies showcasing Chinese technology and production on an area of over 360,000 square meters, as reported by the Argentine News Agency. To expedite the flow of goods, the national trade promotion system issued nearly 5 million origin certificates and over 550,000 trade certificates for these markets in the first eleven months of 2025. Wang Wenshuai, a spokesperson for the organization, confirmed that this expansion policy will remain firm in 2026, with new technical visit schedules to solidify the 'Belt and Road' as the main axis of global commercial integration led by Beijing.
