China has confirmed its leadership in the global technology race with record figures. According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, between January and November this year, 1.01 million new companies linked to emerging industries and future sectors were established, representing a 9 % year‑over‑year growth.
The main driver of this entrepreneurial surge is generative artificial intelligence, with the number of new AI‑generative firms multiplying more than 29 times compared to the previous year. The humanoid robotics sector also saw significant expansion, growing by 48.9 %. In high‑end equipment, new materials, and next‑generation computing, 775,000 new firms were added.
The so‑called "future industries" in smart health and advanced renewable energy added 283,000 new companies, growing at a rapid rate of 35.8 %. These statistics enable the Chinese industrial system to climb higher in the global value chain, moving toward a development model driven by innovation and high‑quality growth.
In summary, China continues to strengthen its position as an innovation hub, opening new opportunities for business and technology.
