Calculations by Reuters, based on data from a government-affiliated research institute in China, showed yesterday that shipments of mobile phones from foreign brands to China, including iPhones from US company Apple, increased by 128.4% last November compared to the same month last year. Data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology revealed that total mobile phone shipments in China rose by 1.9% year-on-year to 30.16 million units in November 2025, while shipments of phones under foreign brands reached 6.93 million units.
