According to the National Energy Administration, total electricity consumption reached 835.6 billion kilowatt-hours last month. This increase reflects sustained dynamism across various sectors, even exceeding expectations in residential and services consumption.

Energy demand figures:

Tertiary sector in the lead: The services sector led the growth with a 10.3% jump, showing a strong reactivation of commerce and tourism.

Residential consumption: Household energy use rose by 9.8% compared to the same month in 2024.

Industry and Agriculture: The primary industry increased by 7.9%, while manufacturing and the secondary sector grew by 4.4%.

Annual balance: In the accumulated total for the first 11 months of 2025, the Asian giant has already seen a 5.2% increase in its total energy demand.

Official data confirms that, despite international logistical challenges, China's productive machinery maintains a stable growth trajectory towards the end of the year.

As reported by the National Agency, electricity consumption in China, considered one of the most accurate thermometers of global economic activity, recorded a 6.2% annual expansion during November.
