Reflecting China's ambition to enhance its presence in the global aviation market, the Chinese C919 aircraft, developed by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), is set to make its debut in the Middle East during the Dubai Air Show 2025, scheduled to take place from November 17 to 21 at Al Maktoum International Airport. China is preparing to showcase its aircraft to hundreds of global companies and official delegations as part of one of the world's largest airshows. Recently, Hong Kong hosted the first commercial flight of the C919, operated by Air China on the Beijing-Hong Kong route. The 19th edition of the Dubai Air Show will run from November 17 to 21 in the most extensive version of the global event, featuring over 1,500 leading aerospace and defense companies from more than 47 countries, with a total representation of 150 nations. COMAC will participate in the exhibition with two C919 aircraft alongside the C909 business jet, as part of its strategy to promote its products in foreign markets. The C919 has entered the phase of regular commercial operation within China, with 18 aircraft already delivered to China Eastern, China Southern, and Air China, having transported over two million passengers in two years of service. This year's exhibition features more than 200 of the latest aircraft and is expected to attract approximately 148,000 visitors.
