
The Chinese vehicle brand BYD recently showcased a series of new models and technologies during an event. Among the highlighted launches are the Bao 8, a large SUV with a turbo engine and two electric motors, capable of reaching approximately 748 hp of combined power and with a hybrid range of up to 100 km in pure electric mode. Additionally, the Sealion 6 DM-i and Sealion 6 EV were introduced, medium SUVs with hybrid and electric technology respectively.
Regarding BYD, the brand unveiled the Denza Z, its first conceptual electric sports car, which uses the e³ platform and is the first model to implement fully electronic steering. On the other hand, the off-road specialized sub-brand Fangchengbao presented the Bao 5 and Bao 8 models, as well as the compact electric SUV Tai 3, highlighting the latest generation of the DM-i hybrid system that combines efficiency and range.
Furthermore, BYD presented the Dynasty-D, a conceptual luxury SUV that combines traditional Chinese elements with modern technology, as well as the Sedan-S, a conceptual electric sedan that showcases the brand's future design. For its part, Yangwang, BYD's luxury brand, exhibited the U8L, an extended version of its flagship U8 SUV with several innovations in safety and interior space.
