The Chinese company producing electric vehicles XPeng Motors delivered more than 30,000 cars in February for the fourth consecutive month. As the company reported, this indicates a 285% increase in sales volume compared to the same period last year.
The majority of sales came from the compact electric crossover P7, which has become the most popular model in the XPeng lineup. Additionally, a refreshed version of the P7, equipped with third-level autonomous driving technology, was introduced in February.
Notably, sales for the upcoming month exceeded analysts' expectations. According to their forecast, it was anticipated that about 24,000 cars would be delivered in February.
"Our recent string of outstanding results demonstrates consumer demand for our products, allowing us to increase our share of the electric vehicle market in China," noted a representative of XPeng Motors.
The company is also planning to start selling its cars in Europe in the near future, which will help it expand its presence in the global electric vehicle market.
