
The international conglomerate Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. is committed to investing more than 380 billion yuan (53 billion dollars) over the next three years in artificial intelligence infrastructure.
As stated by company chairman Jeff Zhang, Alibaba plans to "embrace new opportunities and challenges, creating a new infrastructure for tens of thousands of companies." It is planned to train millions of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and establish 100 innovative high-tech laboratories.
The company is also determined to accelerate the development of new technologies, including quantum computing and IoT devices. "We hope that over the next decade this will be the golden decade for companies in the field of artificial intelligence," Zhang emphasized.
