Experts from two analytical organizations stated that China appears to be building a large center for testing nuclear weapons. This statement comes at a time when relations between China and its superiors, particularly the USA, are under strain due to nuclear weaponry.
According to the experts, analysis of satellite images shows that significant construction work has taken place at the proposed center since 2017. They noted that the object is approximately two kilometers long and includes buildings that fit the descriptions typical for such facilities.
"If this complex is used for nuclear tests, it may indicate that China is preparing to expand its nuclear program," said one of the experts.
