Huawei has unveiled the WATCH Ultimate 2, a smartwatch that combines elegant design with cutting-edge technology for extreme adventures. The new device features an innovative water pressure sensing structure that detects water depth and automatically seals openings to prevent water entry. It is the world's first smartwatch with underwater messaging support via sonar. The built-in sonar allows users to send messages to other divers within a 30-meter range. The watch is engineered for depths of up to 150 meters and includes audio capabilities, a unique feature for free-diving smartwatches. The watch case is made of zirconium-based liquid metal, giving it exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and flexibility. The bezel uses dual-color nanocrystal ceramic, a material that resists scratches and corrosion. The display is protected by sapphire glass with a Mohs hardness of 9. The watch supports eSIM for standalone communication and features a dual-battery mode. In Standard mode, it lasts for 4.5 days, while in Power Saving mode, it can last up to 6 days while still supporting basic features. For golf enthusiasts, the watch includes an enhanced Golf mode with support for over 17,000 golf course maps worldwide. Additionally, the watch is equipped with an Emergency SOS feature and a TruSense system for advanced health monitoring. Pressing and holding the X-TAP sensor for 3 seconds initiates a Health Glance check based on 11 indicators, including average heart rate, blood oxygen, body temperature, stress, and ECG.
