At the summit of the "BRICS" group, China’s President Xi Jinping stated that participants of the "BRICS" group should continue to demonstrate pragmatism and an innovative approach to ensure fruitful cooperation. He also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in the field of science and technology to achieve sustainable development.
"We must create favorable conditions for economic cooperation between the BRICS member countries to contribute to common heritage in accordance with the basic principles of international law," said Xi Jinping.
