On Tuesday, the Chinese army began exercises using live ammunition off the coast of Taiwan. Taiwan's authorities stated that they will follow these events with great attention.
The Taiwan defense ministry warned that such military actions from Beijing could threaten regional stability. In the Yellow Sea, located between China and Taiwan, 13 warships, including aircraft carriers, were dispatched.
"We call on the Communist Party of China to take the situation seriously and to stop the provocations," stated the president of Taiwan.
