Representatives of China announced a statement regarding the military actions of Israel in the Gaza sector, following Israel's announcement of a plan to seize control over this region.
A representative of the Chinese Ministry stated: "We express sincere concern regarding the renewed violence in the Gaza sector. We call on all parties for immediate cessation of hostilities, protection of the civilian population, and to contribute to a peaceful settlement of the longstanding problem based on the two-state solution."
He also added that China calls for national cooperation and solidarity, as the preservation of peace and stability in the Middle East is seen as an important mission, and all countries should strive to ensure a long-term region of peace and well-being.
