According to an agreement from Chinese border guards, "necessary control measures" were implemented to prevent the Japanese passenger plane incident.
The border guards reported that the incident occurred in the airspace over Eastern China. Representatives of the Japanese border service stated that there were no deviations from the flight path and the safety of the aircraft was not compromised.
They also added that they expect further clarification of the situation from the Chinese authorities.
