The automotive market in China continues its strong growth, with total car sales, both new and used, reaching over 54 million units last year. According to data from the China Automobile Dealers Association, total used car sales in 2025 exceeded 20 million vehicles. Meanwhile, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers indicated that new car sales surpassed 34 million units. The Xinhua News Agency reported that in December last year, the volume of used car transfers in China reached 34.9 million, an increase of 4.7 percentage points from the same month in 2024.
