BYD, owned by billionaire Wang Chuanfu, has announced its desire to strengthen its presence in Hong Kong. The company aims to increase its influence beyond the borders of mainland China and become one of the largest global electric vehicle manufacturers.
"We see great potential for growth in the electric vehicle market in Hong Kong and plan to actively promote our products here in the near future," stated a BYD representative.
