Seven athletes from OАЭ will participate in the III Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, from February 7 to 14. The total number of participants includes six men and one woman, who will represent their country in three different sports: alpine skiing, freestyle, and snowboarding.
The UAE team includes Abdallah Al Ferdan, Abdallah Al Balushi, and Alex Estreich, who will compete in the alpine ski race. Abdallah Al Rashid and Sultan Al Kandi will compete in freestyle, while Amina Al Makheiri and Hamid Al Ansari will participate in snowboarding.
"We are proud of our athletes representing our country at the Asian Games," said Hamad Ahmed Al Kaabi, deputy chairman of the World Federation of Freestyle.
