A 26-year-old young man who recovered from a persistent disability thanks to the treatment he received after suffering a stroke due to a severe headache he had while working at his computer, aiming to relieve his pain. The young man, who goes by the name of Shao Chang, is a specialist in information technology from Hunan Province, China, and had been suffering from neck pain due to long periods of sitting in front of the computer.

During a training session, Chang experienced sudden pain in his neck, followed by a severe headache, and he sustained symptoms like tingling and weakness on the left side of his body the following day, along with slurred speech. Despite his initial lack of concern about the symptoms, he was forced to go to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a rupture in the right carotid artery and a secondary cerebral hemorrhage.

Doctors were able to diagnose the injury in time after conducting magnetic resonance imaging tests and arrange quick treatment for the condition with the use of anticoagulants and removal of the hematoma, which helped alleviate his pain and set Chang on the path to recovery. Dr. Liu Yan from the neurology department at the hospital emphasizes the importance of awareness that improper pressure on the blood vessels, such as severe strain, can lead to vessel rupture and critical situations like strokes.
