According to Xinhua News Agency, an explosion occurred on Sunday afternoon at a steel mill owned by "Baoguang United Steel" in Baotou city, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Social media images showed collapsed roofs and debris inside the plant, with thick smoke columns rising above it, and the presence of fire trucks. The agency reported that the blast occurred at 17:30 on Sunday. Local authorities for emergency management and fire rescue reported two deaths and five people missing. Among the 66 injured, three are in critical condition.
